Editors Review

Campbell RV is a large RV dealer in Florida with more than two decades experience. Their rental fleet is consist of all Forest Sunseekers that are suitable for bigger groups in not-so-tight budget.

About Campbell RV

Campbell RV has grown into one of the most popular RV dealers in Florida with an array of services, from rentals to sales, consignment, parts and more. Even after decades, they are still a family-owned and operated entity. Their rental department is a selection of only one RV model of high-quality motorhomes, ranging in different sizes and layouts. Over the years, the company has created a name, especially in their area in Sarasota, Florida. Accordingly, they may allow special times for return and pick-up of RVs as well as go the extra mile to make your RV trip really worthwhile.

Fleet

Depending on your family size, these Forest River Sunseekers can sleep 6 to 8 people. These Class C motorhomes are all high-quality gas units with at least one slide-out and plenty of room to roam. All RVs come equipped with generators, full kitchen, large bathroom with shower and toilet, and nice set of entertainment set. Unfortunately, these aren't pet-friendly units. Just a piece of advice though, the roof is off limits and do take care of the awning at all cost because these aren't included in the insurance.

Vehicles

Sunseeker 2250SLE

So, let's start digging with the Campbell fleet with this compact yet well outfitted Class C unit that sleeps up to 6. The motorhome may be the smallest but it already includes all the features you'll need for a cozy road trip like queen bedroom, U-shaped dinette sleeper with overhead cabinets, bathroom, and kitchen with flip counter-top, sink, microwave, and fridge. The cab-over area may either be converted into a sleeping area or a spectacular entertainment system or both. Plus, this one has a single slide-out.

Sunseeker 2290

Moving on, the Sunseeker 2290 is just two inches bigger than the first one. But this RV features different interior layout. The slide-out room is stationed at the dinette sleeper for a cozier living room arrangement. The cornered rear queen bed provides plenty of overhead storage. Also at the back area is the bathroom. The cab-over adds extra sleeping place with a nice TV.

Sunseeker 2450

Definitely comfier and roomier for 6, the Sunseeker 2450 also appoints one slide-out at the dinette area. To make it more classy, there's a step-up going to the rear queen bed. This spacious unit provides a club chair near the entry step to give extra seating in the living quarters. If you're travelling with lesser people, then you can transform the cab-over into a fantastic entertainment center.

Sunseeker 2850

This Sunseeker 2850 is a 7 berth unit with full living area slide that gives utmost comfort while you are inside. Plus, the kitchen galley is very much convenient allowing you to easily wander around. Because of the added length, the entire back area is apportioned for the private bedroom with queen bed, wards and storage areas. The bathroom features a separate shower and toilet.

Sunseeker 3010

The Sunseeker 2850 is one of the largest rental units at 32'3" sleeping up to 8. The full slide at the dinette and sofa sleeper is perfect for a cozier afternoon session or night retreat. In addition, the queen rear bed comes with a slide-out, allowing it to provide more facilities inside the bedroom like wardrobe, closets, and entertainment set. This unit also accentuates a separate shower and toilet.

Sunseeker 3250

In terms of livability and versatility, this Sunseeker bunkhouse model is the answer. This is the largest option with a sleeping capacity up to 8. With this huge motorhome, there will be serious space for walking around for your kids. It has two extended slide-outs, one at the living room and the other at the rear. The private bathroom highlights its vanity area and shower. The kitchen, on the other hand, is rigged with large refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and overhead storage.

Insurance

Insurance is provided with the rental but you still need to pay the security (damage) deposit ranging from $500.00-$1,500.00, depending on rented unit. By default, the company requires you to provide a proof of your insurance before your trip. In case you can't provide one, you can negotiate with them.

Reputation

Over the years, Campbell RV worked with their satisfactory reputation. They offer great service not just with their rental but also with other departments like consignment, parts, services and more. They are committed to customer care and are willing to consider special requests. However, one downside could be the rates. Yes, they have a fleet of high-quality motorhomes that are well-maintained but most of these RVs are quite pricey. Also, they only have one RV model (all Sunseekers) for rent though it suits different number of travellers.

Summary

The high-quality Class C motorhomes from Campbell RV targets bigger groups with extra budget for a more spacious and worthwhile road trip.
